About Dr Huddy Fuller

A native Queenslander, Dr Huddy Fuller completed schooling in Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast before studying Exercise Science at Southern Cross University. He gained experience in Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation before returning to university to study medicine, graduating with a medical degree from the University of Tasmania in 2012. He trained in Launceston then Hervey Bay hospitals before completing General Practice specialty training in rural NSW. Dr Huddy chose General Practice because he believes it is the most important medical speciality for the betterment of people’s lives. 

Dr Huddy brings his background as an exercise physiologist to General Practice, and enjoys integrating this experience with a focus on up-to-date and evidence based sports and musculoskeletal medicine, including joint injections. He is experienced in skin cancer screening and has an interest in tattoo skin checks, has experience in chronic disease management, and provides occupational health/pre-employment services.

Dr Huddy believes in living in and supporting the community where he works, and aims to provide high quality general practice through continuity of care with a focus on education and shared decision-making approach.

Dr Huddy values access to medical care and provides intermittent rural locums.

Dr Huddy believes strongly in the societal value of Women’s sport, and is proud to sponsor both Brisbane’s premier elite Women’s Ultimate Frisbee club Fuse, and the Women’s elite cycling development team WCDI. Dr Huddy was a minor sponsor of the Brisbane Roar Women’s team in the ‘23-24 season.

Huddy is heavily involved in the team sport Ultimate Frisbee.
